Internships



The undergraduate programme provides 10-26 weeks of training experience for undergraduate students. Students will have an opportunity for hands-on experience in our laboratory to enhance their knowledge base and to gain professional experience.   

The 10-week research program (Apr - June) is designed for approximately 10 outstanding undergraduate students who are interested in pursuing a career in cancer research. Students will be paid a daily stipend, including a top-up stipend for students living outside the Klang Valley. Students in the program have the opportunity to:
  • • obtain hands-on research experience;
  • • interact with faculty, postdoctoral fellows, and graduate students;
  • • attend group meeting sessions to learn about in-progress projects at CARIF;
  • • present their research at a special session at the end of the ten-week program.
Students are required to have a minimum CGPA of 3.0 and are selected based on their demonstrated interest in and potential to excel in the field of cancer research and a commitment to a serious learning experience.
